Around January this year, We were playing with Android Honeycomb 3.0 and started developing a tablet based Route Delivery application. We have successfully delivered couple of Enterprise based Android 3.0 apps and our clients are happily using them to run their business when they are out in the field. Overall we were happy with Android 3.0 release. Now its Android 4.0 Icecream Sandwich time (ICS). As usual we at RIA Mobile Solutions started digging and getting our hands dirty exploring the features that might be interesting for our Android Clients and of course some of the developer features that Android 4.0 has to offer to us as developers.
Stay tuned with us to see what our experience with this new OS release and what it has to offer. But in between you can learn about some of the new features of Android 4.0 here and some the new developer features of Android 4.0 here.
As Android Developers some of the features that we are excited to offer our clients are in areas of enhanced Stylus Input, accessibility features, security for apps and content and ofcourse VPN client API. These are some of the features that will help us deliver more enterprise android apps to our clients. We are excited and we will blog about these features in depth soon.
